Ruth and Matthew’s big day finally arrived a few days ago after several delays and government U-turns. A much smaller affair than originally planned but a wonderful and intimate wedding of these lovely people. The wedding ceremony took place at The Archbishop’s Palace in Maidstone. Only four were allowed into the building so that I couldn’t shoot their vows but we had time for some shots in the lovely grounds at Maidstone.
Then we all headed to the reception, a rather snazzy tipi in a field owned by Matthew’s mum, Penny (whose wedding I shot in the same spot last year) … a lovely, intimate and safe wedding in the sunny Kent countryside.
Kent is a beautiful county in England with a rich history and stunning countryside. It is a popular destination for weddings and has many beautiful venues. If you are planning a wedding in Kent, you must find a photographer who can capture the beauty of your day.
