The first wedding of 2022, and what a lovely way to start with the wedding of Olivia and James. The preparation was at Olvia's parents' home near Brentwood, then a horribly congested drive down the A12 to the ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Cambridge Park.
It was a wonderfully light and airy church for the ceremony itself, which was fortunate as it was raining heavily, and I had to shoot the formal group shots inside.
The couple, me and the videographer planned to go to a few central London locations around the Bank of England area for the couples' shots. By the time we arrived at the Royal Exchange, the rain had stopped, and we managed to get some lovely photos of the newlyweds here before it started to rain again. Thankfully the reception venue, The Anthologist, was very close by.
Later in the evening, outside Gresham St, there was plenty of light for the couple to pop out, have street portraits, and practice their first dance.
