Cara and Adam’s wonderful wedding was at The Old Kent Barn near Folkestone. Some wonderful details and plenty of thought went into every little aspect of their big day.
I arrived early at 11am for an 11.30 start for the preparations; I like to wander and get the wedding venue detail shots and wide photos of the barn itself. A wonderful venue to shoot and as I haven’t been here in awhile it was lovely to see the improvements that have happened. The outdoor area for the guests used to be covered by a white open sided marquee, which was fine but if the wind picked up it did move around a bit. The new permanent structure is perfect for keeping your guests dry and cuts down on the cross-wind brilliantly.
The preparations were busy as Cara had five bridesmaids but some great tunes from the 90’s made for a buzzing atmosphere. The make-up artists did a wonderful job and as there were two of them the ladies were ready in record time.
Adam arrived in some style in his yellow-green … coloured BMW M4 which did sound rather nice. The groom’s party all had matching and rather snazzy suits with Adam in a dark blue suit.
